Closed in 2019 for family emergency. In the 1960’s, Steve Harvey, a retired forestry professional and his wife, Vassa, known county-wide for her home-baked cookies, planted a Christmas tree on the Irle family farm, just east of Sumner, in the Puyallup Valley. The Harvey’s helped start a trend toward friendly family operated small tree farms. From berries, bulbs, rhubarb, fruit, cows, and school teaching, the Irle family continues working the field. Harvey’s Harvest includes over 8 acres of cultivated land which includes thousands of trees. The front field, on 166th Ave E, boasts the entire variety of trees that grow on our farm including Turkish (Nordman) Fir, Noble Fir,  Grand Fir, Douglas Fir, Colorado Blue Spruce, and Scotch (Scots) Pines. Come and join us for a holiday stroll through the trees then enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or cider and sit around the campfire for some holiday cheer.
